WHERE DO YOU HOLD YOUR LESSONS?
I teach from my personal address in Catford, London. I will send you all the details you need to find your way when you book your lesson. Each lesson lasts for one hour. Please arrive five minutes early so that you can have the benefit of a full hours tuition.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
I have a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music Performance specialising on the guitar. Also, I am a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors and the Musicians Union.
HOW DO I PAY FOR LESSONS?
You can pay online through my booking service using Paypal. I can also take a payment in person by card or cash and will provide you with a receipt for your purchase.
DO YOU TEACH ELECTRIC AND ACOUSTIC GUITAR?
I teach both contemporary Electric and Acoustic guitar styles. I have listed the styles I teach on my About Me page. If you have any further queries please feel free to contact me.
WHAT AGE GROUP DO YOU TEACH?
I teach children from the age of 12 upwards. For legal reasons I am only able to teach persons over the age of 18 at my residence. If you live locally to me I am happy to travel to you and teach your children whilst you are present. Please contact me if you would like me to teach your child or children in your own home. Please be aware that there could be an additional cost for my travel expenses.
CAN YOU TRAVEL TO A LOCATION THAT SUITS ME?
I would highly recommend that you come to me. I have all my teaching material at hand which allows for a smoother and more informative lesson. If it is difficult for you to reach me, I can travel to a location that suits you. To discuss this further please contact me. Be aware there may be an additional cost for my travel expenses.
I CAN'T MAKE A SCHEDULED LESSON, HOW DO I RESCHEDULE/CANCEL?
If you need to reschedule a lesson, that is no problem. Just contact me and we can arrange a time that suits you better. However, I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel the lesson at short notice you may be asked to pay for the lost lesson on your next visit.
I AM A BEGINNER, CAN YOU HELP ME CHOOSE THE RIGHT INSTRUMENT?
I sure can! I love helping people buy their first guitar. If you don't have an instrument yet I have a spare guitar that you can use for your first few lessons. This should get you up and running before you invest in that all important first guitar!
